Throughout her career, she has managed corporate, regulatory, and litigation in jurisdictions throughout North America, primarily in the oil & gas and transportation industries. Leading teams through procurement requirements of large complex projects, providing legal guidance to companies on mergers and acquisitions, serving as chief privacy officer, and developing compliance programs are some of the key experiences during her career.
Ms. Hurl has a BCL/LLB from McGill University, is accredited as in-house counsel by the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association and holds a designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Ms. Hurl has volunteered for and served on numerous not for profit boards related to access to justice, social issues, and athletic organizations as well as professional associations.
